
Spaghetti Bolognese Bake
serves 2
Bolognese Sauce -
1/2 Onion (minced)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
2 Fresh Tomatoes (diced)
1 Carrot (diced)
1 1/2 tsp. Chicken Stock Powder
4 tbsp. Tomato Sauce
1tbsp. Sugar
200g Spaghetti
150g Parmesan Cheese
Marinated Minced Beef -
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Corn Flour
200g Minced Beef
1. In a bowl, mix salt and corn flour with minced beef.
2. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
3. Add oil to a large pan over high heat. Add onion, garlic and tomato, fry until soft.
4. Add minced beef into the pan, break up the meat into crumbles as it cooks.
5. Add fresh tomato and cook for a couple of minutes. Keep stirring.
6. Add tomato sauce, season with sugar and chicken stock powder. Cook until the sauce begins to thicken.
7. Preheat oven to 200℃. Spoon a layer of sauce into a baking dish, then the spaghetti, then cover with the rest of the sauce. Sprinkle cheese on top.
8. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until cheese melted. Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
